A new feature starring Jabba the Hutt is to be introduced to Star Wars Battlefront in a future update, EA has teased. While we don’t yet know how it ties into the game, a new ‘Hutt Contracts’ mode was teased in a trailer released for the game last night, revealing a short clip of Jabba holding a holographic device projecting images of weapons. The trailer (below) is titled ‘Star Wars Battlefront – Free Game Updates’, suggesting the mode will be available for free....

VGC is reporting that multiple sources have informed them that SIE and Guerrilla Games are planning on turning Horizon Zero Dawn into a trilogy starting with the release of Horizon Zero Dawn 2 for the PlayStation 5. The report suggests that Guerrilla had ambitions to tell Horizon Zero Dawn as a trilogy story early on in the development process of the original game, but that plan didn’t become formal until it was clear to everybody involved that the first game would be a success....

Last year’s surprise hit racing game Hot Wheels Unleashed will get a Monster Trucks expansion this April, developer Milestone has announced. The expansion promises to take the famous dinky toy cars to a “monstrously large dimension” in the DLC. We’ll get five new vehicles, a themed Track Builder Module and new customisation items for the Basement and Player’s Profile.
