Ibuki will be the next DLC character coming to Street Fighter V, Capcom has announced.
Trained in the deadly art of ninjutsu from an early age, Ibuki is from a village located in the mountains of Japan and is often seen with her pet tanuki, Don and her best friend Sarai Kurosawa.
She first appeared in Street Fighter III: New Generation and then in 3rd Strike.
A mobile character, Ibuki has new ways to mix-up the opponent with the ability to glide through the air and throw ninja bombs. Kunais – Japanese daggers – are also at the heart of Ibuki’s playstyle, only now she can stock just five at a time.
Ibuki is also able to build up energy and blast it from her palm towards the opponent.
V-TRIGGER: Isshaku Horokudama
Ibuki digs into her bag of ninja tools and throws a bomb at the opponent. Depending on which direction is held upon activation, the bomb can either go off quickly, after a slight delay or after a longer delay.
Ibuki’s arrival will also coincide with the release of a new alternate stage – a day time version of the Kanzuki Estate named Estate at Noon.
We can’t find any mention of a release date, but online chatter seems to point to the DLC appearing alongside the planned Story Mode update in June.
