DMZ, the new high-risk game mode in Warzone 2, contains plenty of unique enemies that players can come across. One such example is the new enemy AI that operators can find in the game called The Chemist.

The Chemist has become a significant figure in DMZ matches due to the obtainable weapon that he carries, called the M13B assault rifle. If you want to learn how to kill him in order to acquire the firearm, then we’ve got you covered.

Here’s all that you need to know about finding and killing The Chemist in Warzone 2 DMZ.

Warzone 2: Where is The Chemist in DMZ?

You can find The Chemist in Radiation Zones scattered throughout the map at the beginning of DMZ matches. To find these areas, simply open your map at the start of a run and locate the yellow circle with the radiation sign in the middle. The Chemist will be very easy to spot within as they’re going to be the only enemy wearing a yellow hazmat suit.

Keep in mind, though, that you’ll need to stock up on Radiation Blockers and Stims before you go into a Radiation Zone. Alternatively, you can also procure a gas mask to lessen the effect of radiation on your character. We recommend heading over to these areas immediately at the start of a match as other players will most likely have the same idea of finding The Chemist in mind.

How To Kill The Chemist in Warzone 2 DMZ?

The easiest and quickest way to kill The Chemist used to be by running him over with a vehicle because you’d only need one hit to do so. However, this strategy is no longer available following the Warzone 2 patch on November 22nd.

As a result, you will need to take out The Chemist the traditional way by gunning him down or using explosives to finish him off. We also suggest tackling this task in a group as you will often encounter additional enemies during the fight.

After The Chemist has been defeated, you’ll be able to pick up the M13B assault rifle where he fell. You will, however, need to exfil first in order to unlock it. If you die beforehand, you’ll need to repeat the process all over again. Once your team has successfully extracted, you’ll then be able to use it in every other mode within the game.
