Destiny 2‘s holiday event, The Dawning, is underway, and the hard-to-find Perfect Taste ingredient has also returned. For players unfamiliar with the event, The Dawning takes place yearly in Destiny 2 during the holiday season. Like Destiny 2‘s other seasonal events, players will be given specific quests and objectives for precious loot. The seasonal event loot typically includes holiday-themed weapons, armor, ghost shells, and more. Here is how to get Perfect Taste in Destiny 2 – The Dawning 2022.

No seasonal event in Destiny 2 is the same, and each is tasked with different objectives bringing something new to Destiny 2. The Festival of the Lost brings the haunted sectors, The Guardian Games hosts PvP activities, and The Dawning brings Eva’s oven to bake cookies. Before Guardians can begin the cookie-making process, they will have to farm some ingredients before baking the specific cookies, including the ingredient perfect taste.

How to get and farm Perfect Taste in Destiny 2 – The Dawning 2022

The Dawning has a long list of ingredients for Gardians to collect and use to bake specific cookies. Collecting the ingredients can range from simple to difficult, since some are much rarer than others. Unfortunately, the Perfect Taste ingredient falls into the much rarer one to collect since it has a low drop rate. The in-game description for Perfect Taste reads, “gained by defeating opponents with precision damage.” The description means players must kill the enemy by hitting their weak spots to get a chance for Perfect Taste to drop.

Weak spots vary from enemy to enemy, but it usually means aiming for the enemy’s head. Unless it’s the Vex, in which the player should aim for their Vex Milk stomach instead. Precision is the focus when farming for Perfect Taste. The best precision weapons to farm with are scout rifles, pulse rifles, and snipers. Destiny 2‘s Dawning event is here until January 3, giving players plenty of time to get Perfect Taste and bake away.
