There are three ways of changing your Twitter language. The first option is changing the language on headlines, buttons, and other controls. Secondly, you can switch a tweet’s language by translating it into a familiar language. The last option involves changing the tweet’s content language.

This guide will take you through the methods of changing your Twitter language on desktop and mobile.

Method #1: Changing Twitter’s Display Language on Desktop

You can only change Twitter’s display language on the Twitter website. Your Twitter will automatically switch between multiple languages based on the country you’re in. For instance, English is most likely the default language if you reside in the UK, Canada, or the US. But you can change it to any language you desire.

Follow these steps to change the display language.

Step 1: Click “More”

Log into your Twitter homepage and click “More” at the bottom of the sidebar on the left of your screen.

Step 2: Settings and Privacy

On the pop-up menu, click Settings and support, then click “Settings and privacy” in the drop-down menu.

Step 3: Select Language

Click “Accessibility, display, and languages,” then select Languages.

Step 4: Open Language Options

Under languages, click “Display language” to choose to open the language options.

Step 5: Select Your Favorite Language
