With the sheer number of streaming services out there, it’s not surprising for some of us to get the urge to do some pruning every once in a while. Considering there are close to 300 streamers out there to choose from, it’d cost thousands upon thousands to subscribe to them all.

Starz has around 1,200 titles available in its streaming library. This includes many of Starz’s original series (a number of which are quite critically acclaimed). From Outlander to Heels to Blindspotting to Shining Vale, Starz has plenty of really excellent shows in its library (not to mention the entire web of Power spinoffs and the mainline entries itself).

Classic Starz shows no longer on the air can also be enjoyed, including Black Sails, Party Down, American Gods, Ash vs Evil Dead, and more. Canceling Starz means losing access to them all.

Classics include The Good, the Bad and the Ugly (1966), Night of the Living Dead (1968), Alien (1979), Heat (1995), and plenty of others. This stacked movie library is a large part of what makes Starz worth holding onto, in our opinion.

Additionally, Starz has one of the very best assemblies of classic Hollywood Westerns available on streaming today. They’ve even had an entire cable channel dedicated to the popular genre before.

From Technicolor gems out of Old Hollywood and revisionist Westerns of the New Hollywood era to more contemporary Westerns from the 21st century onward, Western fans might want to consider keeping their Starz subscription for this wide selection of genre fare alone.

It’s worth noting that these steps are best when completed from a desktop or laptop computer. You can still cancel on mobile, but it’s going to look a little different from this.

From there, move your mouse down to Prime Video beneath the Digital Content & Devices heading. Click Prime Video, then click Prime Video again underneath the Prime Video heading. (Redundant, we know.)

Step 2: Cancel Channel

Now that you’re on the Prime Video Settings page, you’ll want to click the heading that says Channels. This will take you to a page that looks like the one in the image above.

It will list your Prime Membership payment settings at the top of the page. You can disregard this, as it’s not important to what we’re working on here.

You’ll want to look past this section to the one titled Your Channels. Below here, you’ll see the Starz channel listed alongside any other channels you subscribe to.

Click the blue text that says Cancel Channel. This will take you to a new page that presents you with three different options: “Remind me 3 days before renewal,” “Turn off auto-renew and watch until [renewal date],” and “Keep subscription.”

Step 3: Turn off Auto-Renew
