One of the best PlayStation games of all time is coming to PS Now in January.
In case you weren’t aware, Sony has its own game subscription service along the same lines as the Xbox Games Pass. It’s called PlayStation Now, and it gives you access to hundreds of games ranging from classics from the PlayStation 2 all the way up to modern titles.
Coming in January are a trio of award-winning games, starting with 2017’s runaway hit, Horizon Zero Dawn.
Originally released in February of 2017, Horizon Zero Dawn would define the year for graphics and gameplay. Even though it’s almost three years old, the visual fidelity of this game still compares favorably with today’s titles as a truly breathtaking example of what the PS4 can do.
Horizon Zero Dawn was also hugely successful, winning multiple awards and selling over 10 million copies in two years. If you haven’t played Horizon Zero Dawn, you’re missing out on what is truly one of the greatest games of the modern era.
Next up we have Uncharted: The Lost Legacy. For the first time, Naughty Dog released an Uncharted game that didn’t feature Nathan Drake as the leading man. Instead, the game has leading woman Chloe Frazer who seeks out the Tusk of Ganesh in the mountains of India along with ex-mercenary Nadine Ross and Nathan’s brother Sam Drake.
Uncharted: The Lost Legacy was also nominated for a bunch of awards and even won a few in 2018, mostly for sound design.
And finally, we have Overcooked 2. It’s a cooking simulator where you play as a short-order cook desperately making as many meals as you can on a conveyor belt system. You add ingredients, cook, and serve either alone or with up to 4-players.
As with the rest of these games, Overcooked 2 is also an award-winning title, taking home the Best Family Game from the 2018 Game Critics Awards and the 2018 Game Awards.
All of these games are available starting January 2nd through April 7th of 2020. And if you already have PS Now, don’t forget to check out some currently available games like Wolfenstein: The Old Blood, Persona 5, or Middle Earth: Shadow of War.
