Japanese accessory manufacturer Hori is going to be producing some Animal Crossing: New Horizons themed accessories for the Nintendo Switch. Made to coincide with the long-awaited new installment in the franchise, these goodies range from the large (a tote bag) all the way to the small (a Switch case). They’re bound to be the perfect gift for anyone that plays Nintendo’s little life simulator.
If you’re more about carrying everything Switch related at once, you’ll probably find more use with the tote bag or hand pouch. The tote is merely a large bag with some Animal Crossing flavor while the hand pouch has specific cutouts for every Switch accessory you’d need. A slot for the dock, Joy-Con grip, A/C adapter, and even the HDMI cable. It should be quite handy for those that travel to conventions or their friends’ houses often.
With no prices currently listed, it’s hard to say how much these will cost. The hand pouch will probably be the most expensive, but the shoulder bag might also be up there. I can’t imagine the stand or Switch Lite cover would be more than $30, but international shipping is quite the cost to eat.
Considering Nintendo of America likes to import these items for sale at its official NYC location, it might be wiser to wait for that option. At least with that, you’ll only have to pay outrageous NYC sales taxes instead of crazy shipping costs. Those are roughly the same, though…
