Multiplayer heist game Hood: Outlaws & Legends has launched Season One of its post-launch content named Samhain with a new character, new maps and more.

Leading the update is new outlaw Eidaa. She’s a hybrid character capable of using both swords and sorcery. She can dodge and parry in melee, though she has lower health than other characters, so you’ll have to keep an eye on her stamina to succeed. Her abilities include a tar bomb that can both slow down and chip away at the health of enemies. Her resupply trait meanwhile, lets her replenish gear boxes, while her ultimate is a magical projectile-deflecting shield.

The season also brings with it a reword for the game’s Winch System that closes every game. Finishes will now be score based, with each team needing a number of notches to win the game. Completing earlier objectives in the map will give your team a boost, and set them in good stead for the closing moments. There’s also three new free co-op maps in the update, including Mountain, Coastal and Marshland.

Season One also brings along with it the game’s first premium Battle Pass. Those who opt-in for it can expect a haul of costumes, weapon skins and more cosmetic content for those wanting to customise their outlaw. Those who own the Year One edition of the game will have the pass included, everyone else can pick it up separately from their format’s respective storefronts.
