Hood: Outlaws & Legends blends both action and stealth mechanics. You can either rush to your foes to smash them to bits or stealthily traverse a level to ambush them when they least expect it. With four characters to choose from, you’re bound to try each to discover their capabilities.

However, there were a few problems that I noticed from the three-day headstart phase, most notably with regard to matchmaking. It can take you a while to find a match and, in some cases, the team compositions could be lopsided. Still, here’s our Hood: Outlaws & Legends guides and features hub to help you out.

Hood: Outlaws & Legends – Guides and features hub

Official review – Hood: Outlaws & Legends has a PvPvE mode called Heists and that’s basically the core gameplay loop. Your team of four will face off against another squad, all while AI-controlled guards try to block your progress. There are some intricacies here, especially with character selections and combat. But, the question remains: is it worth your while?

Technical review – We took a look at the game’s graphics comparisons, performance, controls, and other settings. I guess you can say that these are the things going on “under the Hood.”

Beginner’s guide – Eager to get started and jump straight into a match? Well, here’s our beginner’s guide to give you a gist of what you can expect. We discuss the basics of each game mode, character picks, assassinations, and the tasks you need to complete during a run.

Robin perks guide and tips – Robin is an expert marksman, and he can use his longbow to snipe enemies from afar. I would consider him a beginner-friendly choice if you want to play as a ranged character.

Marianne perks guide and tips – Marianne is another ranged character, though she’s more of a hybrid. You could shoot people with her hand crossbow, but it’s better to sneak up behind foes and backstab them.

John perks guide and tips – Coming soon.

Tooke perks guide and tips – Coming soon.

Note: Hood: Outlaws & Legends will get extra content down the line, including battle passes that provide new characters. We’ll have additional guides for you soon.
