Hollow Knight: Silksong has a new trailer, it will be out within the next twelve months, and, when it does launch, it will be on Xbox Game Pass.
Check out the new trailer below:
The description reads, “Hunt, Survive, Vanquish in Hollow Knight: Silksong, launching Day One on Xbox Game Pass.”
Silksong has been a very anticipated game, indeed, for some time now. The original Hollow Knight came out in 2017, on PC, before releasing on the Switch the next year. It was a much-renwoned Metroidvania. In VideoGamer’s review of that game, Adam Cook said:
“It’s deep and rewarding, but also brooding and destructive. It’s a shame that, very occasionally, the precise platforming is ruined with a random push of the jump button registering a second too late; resulting in damage from spikes, but you can’t have it all, I suppose.”
We don’t have a fixed release date for Silksong, but we know that it will be out within the next twelve months. Every game shown off during last night’s Xbox and Bethesda Showcase will be. We also got a longer look at Starfield in action. Hideo Kojima turned up and said hello to Phil Spencer, before announcing his intention to bring something new to Xbox. And we got a good look at Redfall, which is coming out next year. Plus, if you like Metroidvanias, check out The Last Case of Benedict Fox.
